Brian Madjo may have announced himself as a name for the future after the Aston Villa youngster made a huge impression against Paris Saint-Germain during the opening half of their UEFA Super Cup clash.

After Khvicha Kvaratskhelia had produced a brilliant opening goal, the powerful 17-year-old forward came alive and caused major problems for the Paris Saint-Germain defence before the break.

Having already gone close earlier, the England youth international brought Aston Villa level right on the stroke of half-time with a superb volley at the back post.

By doing so, Madjo entered the record books on a night when he had already become the youngest player ever to start a Super Cup match, and he then added another landmark by becoming the youngest scorer in the history of the fixture.

According to Opta, Madjo moved past another former teenage sensation in Patrick Kluivert, the ex-star who famously shone for Ajax, Barcelona and others.

How far can Madjo go? If his display against Paris Saint-Germain is any indication, his potential appears limitless.
