Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is making an increasingly strong case to be regarded as the best left-sided attacker in world football, with the Paris Saint-Germain and Georgia star once again delivering on the big stage.

His latest stunning strike for the French champions further enhanced an already outstanding reputation, after his first-half thunderbolt put PSG in front against Aston Villa in their UEFA Super Cup meeting.

In a finish that is quickly becoming a trademark of the former Napoli forward, Kvaratskhelia gave Marco Bizot no chance when he hammered a ferocious effort into the top corner in the 20th minute, handing PSG a deserved lead.

That goal took the 25-year-old to 11 goal involvements in his last nine appearances in UEFA competitions, made up of eight goals and three assists.

Although his 2025/26 season fell slightly short of expectations overall, Kvaratskhelia's commanding performances in continental fixtures continue to stand out as one of the major positives for the Tbilisi-born attacker.
