Entertainment Desk. Actor Ranveer Singh has started shooting for his apocalyptic (based on the destruction of the world) film 'Pralaya' in Mumbai. He is also debuting as a producer with this film. The film is being directed by Hansal Mehta's son Jai Mehta, who is known as the co-director of 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story' and director of the 'Looter' series.
According to a press release, it is being jointly produced by Ananya Birla's Birla Studios, True Story Films and Maa Kasam Films along with Ranveer. This project is based on the special environment and views of Mumbai. 'Pralaya' is an original story that is a blend of spectacular visuals and deep human emotions.
It's a story of survival, courage, and fighting for what matters most, especially when the world you know starts falling apart. In this, 'Lokah' actress Kalyani Priyadarshan will also be seen along with Ranveer.
Ranveer was last seen in 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge', which earned more than Rs 1800 crore at the global box office.
