Rocking Star Yash has opened up about what audiences can expect from Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, sharing why the film goes beyond conventional storytelling and explores the deeper, more uncomfortable sides of human nature. Yash spoke about the film during his appearance on Aap Ki Adalat with Rajat Sharma.

Speaking about Toxic, Yash emphasised that every layer of his character needed to be explored authentically. “Wherever that story will land, every layer of this character is important to go there. And for me, that kind of a story has to be told in the most authentic way. It is beyond me as a person,” he said.

Yash also pointed to the film’s tagline, A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, as an important indication of the kind of story audiences are stepping into. “From the time I have put the title, I have put a tagline under it. This is a fairy tale for grown-ups,” he said, making it clear that the film has not been conceived as children’s entertainment.

Clarifying the intended audience, Yash said, “Children don’t have to watch. This film is not made for children. All the children have to stay at home. That is very clear. We have not made it for kids.”

For Yash, Toxic is a complex, layered story that invites audiences to explore its characters and world through their own perspective. Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is set to release worldwide on August 26, 2026.
