Juventus have reached an agreement to bring in Guglielmo Vicario from Tottenham Hotspur on an initial loan move.
The North London club have accepted Juventus’ loan proposal for Vicario, with the arrangement also containing an option to buy.
Roberto De Zerbi has approved the departure of the Italy international, who had been eager for a return to Serie A. Spurs have brought in experienced goalkeeper Martin Dubravka to compete with Antonin Kinsky this season.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that a complete agreement has been finalised for Vicario to join Juventus after spending three seasons with Spurs.
Vicario’s move to Turin will bring Juventus’ search for a new first-choice goalkeeper to a close, after they explored deals for Liverpool’s Alisson Becker and Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez earlier this summer.
Juventus had wanted to sign Martinez while Aston Villa move closer to a deal for Parma’s Zion Suzuki, but they were unable to agree terms for the Argentine. The Turin club are also believed to retain an interest in signing Alisson as a free agent once his Liverpool contract runs out in 2027.
