Samsung Galaxy smartphones are widely praised for their high-quality displays, capable cameras and polished One UI experience. However, even premium devices can develop problems after regular use, software updates or accidental changes to settings. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is no exception, with some users reporting battery drain, overheating, performance glitches, connectivity problems and camera inconsistencies.
One S25 Ultra owner recently took to Reddit to share a particularly frustrating experience. The user said the phone developed a green static screen issue that continued even after installing the latest software update and performing a factory reset. According to the post, Samsung declined an exchange because the customer was four days beyond the 14-day return period and instead offered a potential warranty repair.
Fast battery drain can sometimes be caused by apps running in the background, high screen brightness, location services or poor network reception. Users should check Settings > Battery to identify apps consuming excessive power. Turning on power-saving mode, reducing brightness and installing the latest software can also help. If the battery continues to drain unusually quickly, a service check may be necessary.
Heavy gaming, fast charging and prolonged camera use can naturally increase temperatures. However, excessive or persistent heating should not be ignored. Closing demanding apps, avoiding gaming while charging and keeping the phone away from direct sunlight can help. If the device becomes extremely hot during normal use, contact Samsung support.
For focus problems, clean the camera lenses and restart the phone. Users can also clear the Camera app’s cache and check for software updates. If photos remain consistently blurry despite good lighting and a clean lens, the camera hardware may require inspection.
Lag can result from background apps, insufficient storage or temporary software glitches. Restarting the phone, freeing storage and updating One UI can improve performance. If problems began immediately after an update, Samsung may address them through a subsequent software patch. For persistent display, battery, camera or performance problems, users should document the issue and contact Samsung support or an authorised service centre, particularly while the device is still under warranty.
