The Mahakali glimpse ends on a powerful note with Sriya Reddy as Maa Kaali feeding her breast milk to a baby before looking into the camera. Akshaye Khanna also impresses as Shukracharya, while the VFX and background score add to the spectacle. Directed by Puja Kolluru, the film will release on January 8, 2027.

Prasanth Varma, who directed Hanu-Man (2024), is making his own cinematic universe, and the next film in PVCU (Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe) is Mahakali. Varma wrote the movie, and Puja Kolluru directed it. On Saturday, the makers organised a special preview of the Mahakali glimpse featuring Akshaye Khanna in Mumbai.

The Free Press Journal got a chance to watch the promo at the preview on the IMAX screen, and after watching the Mahakali glimpse, we can expect the film to be a stunning cinematic experience. The glimpse introduces Akshaye Khanna as Shukracharya, the guru of asuras (demons).
