Gold Rate Today in India: Gold prices have dipped for the second consecutive day due to a strengthening dollar and profit-taking at higher levels, while silver also faced pressure amidst subdued industrial demand. Regarding price trends, following a brief rise, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold has fallen by ₹230 and 22-carat gold by ₹210 over the last two days. Specifically, today, the price of 10 grams of both 24-carat and 22-carat gold dropped by ₹10 in the national capital, Delhi.

Silver Prices Dip After Four Days of Stability
As for silver, prices have dropped today following four consecutive days of stability. Prior to this four-day stable period, the price of one kilogram of silver had surged by ₹10,500 over two days, while the day before that—on August 19—it had fallen by ₹5,000. As for today, the price of one kilogram of silver in Delhi has dropped by ₹100, bringing it to ₹2,59,900. It is trading at the same rate in other major metropolitan cities like Mumbai and Kolkata. However, the price of a kilogram of silver in Chennai stands at ₹2,64,900, making it the most expensive among the four major metros.
