Scoring below these category-specific thresholds means you will not be considered qualified.

**Opportunity for existing teachers to qualify by 2028**
It is worth noting that, in accordance with a Supreme Court order, it is mandatory for all teachers to pass the TET. In such a scenario, if currently employed teachers fail to pass the exam this time, they will still have the opportunity to qualify by 2028. However, if they fail to pass the exam even by 2028, they could face compulsory retirement or dismissal from service.
