Often, while washing clothes in the washing machine or by hand, the color of a raw colored cloth accidentally gets applied to our favorite white clothes. Even the slightest stain on a white cloth is immediately visible and spoils the entire look of the cloth. But you don’t need to throw away that favorite white shirt or t-shirt of yours. 1. Baking Soda and White Vinegar
Baking soda and white vinegar are a great solution for removing any stubborn color from white clothes. For this, take lukewarm water in a bucket or tub. Mix half a cup of white vinegar and 3-4 teaspoons of baking soda well. Now leave the colored white cloth completely soaked in this mixture for about 1 to 2 hours. After this, rub the cloth gently and wash it with detergent. Vinegar and baking soda act as natural bleaches and remove color.
2. The magic of lemon and salt
Lemon contains citric acid, which is considered an excellent cleanser and natural bleaching agent. Squeeze fresh lemon juice on the part of the cloth which has the color of another cloth and sprinkle a little salt on it. Leave it like this for 20 to 30 minutes. After this, with the help of an old toothbrush, gently rub the stained area and then wash it with clean water. This trick is very effective for cotton white clothes.
3. Use of aspirin tablets
This is a unique but very effective trick. For this, grind 5-6 aspirin tablets and put them in a bucket of lukewarm water and prepare the solution. Soak your white cloth in this solution for at least 4 hours or overnight. Next morning, take out the cloth and wash it with detergent as usual. The salicylic acid present in aspirin easily removes stubborn colors from clothes.
4. Oxygen bleach
If the color is very strong and is not going away with home remedies, you can use ‘oxygen bleach’. It is safer for the fabric of clothes than common chlorine bleach and does not weaken the fabric. Mix bleach in water and soak the clothes for 1 hour and wash them.
