According to media reports, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will commence the application process for Officer (Scale-I, II, III) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts on September 1st. For the majority of posts in the IBPS RRB 2026 (15th edition) recruitment, a bachelor's degree is mandatory. Additionally, for certain specialized posts, candidates are required to hold a degree in fields such as Electronics, Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, or Engineering, or possess qualifications like CA, MBA, or LLB.

Regarding age limits, the minimum age is 18 years and the maximum is 28 years for Office Assistant posts; 18 to 30 years for Officer Scale-I posts; 21 to 40 years for Senior Manager (Officer Scale-III) posts; and 21 to 32 years for all other posts. Selection Process
To be selected for this recruitment, candidates must appear for preliminary and main examinations as well as an interview. However, interviews are not conducted for Clerk posts. Additionally, a single-level online examination is held for Officer Scale-II and Officer Scale-III posts.
