Cricketers from all over the world are raising their voice regarding the health of former Prime Minister of Pakistan and World Cup winning captain Imran Khan. Former cricketers of Pakistan are also coming forward to ensure that Imran, who is lodged in Adiala jail, gets better treatment. Pakistan's veteran batsman Javed Miandad described Imran as honest and said that he should be taken out of jail. At the same time, Moin Khan has appealed to the Pakistan government to at least give good treatment to Imran.
Javed Miandad cried in an interview and said that he knew Imran closely. Imran is not corrupt. Miandad said, 'He is a very honest person. I know him very closely. He is not a person who is involved in corrupt activities, otherwise he could have done a lot.
He further said, 'What will happen if you let him out of jail? Will he eat someone? He is also someone's son. I always wonder what he might be doing in jail.
Imran is in jail since 2023 after being convicted on corruption charges. He was recently taken to a hospital in Islamabad for treatment. After a few days, he was again sent back to jail. Concerns about Imran's health are increasing. Moeen Khan, who won the 1992 World Cup with him, has openly appealed to fellow cricketers to support him.
Moeen shared a video and said, 'I also urge other cricketers to express their views and raise their voice in his support. Imran Khan has made a huge contribution to Pakistan cricket and those of us who played with him have learned a lot from him. He has given a lot to Pakistan cricket.
Moeen further said in his video, 'Our captain Imran Khan, as you all know, is currently in Adiala jail and his condition is very bad. I once again urge the authorities, the Government of Pakistan and all those running Adiala Jail to provide him proper treatment.
