Xiaomi 18 Fold— Tech company Xiaomi is preparing to launch its new foldable smartphone 'Xiaomi 18 Fold' in China in early September. Even before the official announcement, many key specifications of the phone have been revealed by tech tipsters, which include a large battery and high-resolution camera.
According to reports, a large battery of 6,000mAh can be provided in Xiaomi 18 Fold. If this claim proves to be true, then this device will leave behind the competitors in the market like Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 (4,880mAh) and Huawei Pura X View (5,300mAh) in terms of battery backup.
To charge the phone faster, it is expected to have 67W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.
According to leaked information, a 7.6-inch foldable primary screen can be found in the phone. For photography, it is likely to have a 200MP main camera sensor. For biometric security, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor will be provided in the power button of the device.
This foldable smartphone will work on HyperOS 4 based on Android 17, which is specially optimized for large screen format and multitasking.
Xiaomi has not yet revealed the official launch date and full specifications of Xiaomi 18 Fold. It is expected that the company will soon release the teaser of the event to be held in China in September. Information to global launch and prices will be clear only after the official announcement.
