There are fewer than 48 hours left before the transfer window shuts, and plenty is still unresolved. Here is a look at the latest rumours and developments.
Manchester City have still not submitted a bid for Enzo Fernandez, although one is believed to be on the way. Fernandez was left out of the Chelsea squad this weekend as transfer discussions continue. Chelsea are asking for more than £120m for the midfielder, with Xabi Alonso acknowledging that anything could happen.
Moving to one of Fernandez's international team-mates, Alexis Mac Allister's father has insisted the midfielder has no desire to leave Liverpool. The Argentina international has been linked in recent weeks with a possible departure from Anfield, with interest coming from Spain. However, Mac Allister senior has said his son is not considering an exit, even though the club have not yet started contract renewal talks.
“Alexis is not thinking of leaving Liverpool. He wants to stay at the club. Liverpool has not started talks to renew the Alexis contract, but the player’s desire is to continue in the club,” he confirmed.
Juventus have started talks with Newcastle over a deal for Nick Woltemade. The German forward has had an up-and-down spell since arriving last summer as Newcastle's record signing, and Juventus are offering him a loan route out. Fabrizio Romano reports that Woltemade is interested in making the move.
Romano is also busy with a stream of updates before deadline day. Another report from the Italian concerns Everton's bid for Folarin Balogun. The Toffees are making a late push to add attacking quality before the window closes and have already put in an offer.
Chelsea are trying to find Mykhailo Mudryk a temporary destination. The winger, who has recently returned, wants to remain in the Premier League, with Leeds United said to be pushing for a loan deal. He is expected to be part of a Chelsea exodus that could also include Tosin Adarabioyo.
Spurs are another club looking to move players on. After spending heavily, Tottenham are now keen to bring money back in and are cutting down the squad. Sunderland are interested in Kevin Danso and are exploring a possible deal.
