Tamim Iqbal said that both the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are fully prepared to host the series. He said BCB's approach is positive, but some things are beyond his control and he does not want to overstep his authority as the chairman of the board. Both countries have busy cricket schedules. Bangladesh have three upcoming series and Indian team schedule is also very busy. Despite this, both the boards are in constant touch with each other regarding the series.
