UGC has invited fresh applications from eligible HEIs seeking recognition to offer ODL and Online programmes for 2026-27. The online application window is open from September 1 to 15, 2026, at deb.ugc.ac.in.
UGC ODL, Online Programme Recognition 2026-27: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has invited fresh online applications from eligible Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) seeking recognition to offer programmes through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and/or Online mode for the academic year 2026-27.
The recognition will apply to programmes offered from the January-February 2027 academic session and onwards, as per the UGC (Open and Distance Learning Programmes and Online Programmes) Regulations, 2020 and its amendments.
