An event was organized in Bengaluru to commemorate 250 years of America's independence, in which the US Ambassador attended as the chief guest. During this, American Consul General Mariana L. Neisuller was also present.

“We are proud to celebrate 250 years of American independence in Bengaluru and celebrate the strength of the US-India partnership. Across South India, our partnership is fueling innovation, driving investment, and strengthening essential supply chains,” Gore wrote on Twitter.

In Bengaluru, he also met Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla and wrote on Twitter, “It was great to meet Shubhanshu Shukla, the first Indian astronaut to visit the International Space Station. His journey from training at NASA to piloting Axiom Space's AX-4 mission represents US-India space cooperation at its best.”

During the event, Gore said, “It is a great privilege to celebrate 250 years of American independence with you. I want to thank our chief guest, Chief Minister of Karnataka Shiva Kumar. Chief Minister, thank you for taking the time to celebrate here with us. In fact, this is the second time in a month that I have been here, and one of the reasons is how dynamic the Chief Minister is. We have done a lot and we will continue to do a lot with this great state and the Chief Minister.”

Ambassador Sergio Gore said, “Let me give you two examples. First, tonight I'm proud to help launch the Trust Fellowship. It's a new partnership that is bringing together top American and Indian researchers to work on the technologies that will define this century. AI, semiconductor, quantum, and biotech—this is just the beginning. I want to see the Trust grow even further, with more donors coming forward, more Fellows joining the program, and more May greater successes emerge.”
