People, especially in rural areas, will no longer have to wait as long as before for the next LPG refill. The government has eliminated the difference in booking deadlines between rural and urban areas. Now for all domestic LPG customers in the country 25 days booking gap will apply. That is, after the completion of the prescribed period after the previous refill, the customer will be able to book the next cylinder.
Some time ago, in view of the pressure on LPG availability, separate booking gap was kept for rural and urban customers. Rural consumers had to complete a period of 45 days for the next refill.
Now the government has changed this system. Reduction in period of 45 days for rural customers 25 days This means that rural families will no longer have to wait for the completion of 45 days to book a gas cylinder again.
The government has taken this decision in view of the improvement in the current availability of LPG.
