The court says that when 'National Sports Governance Act, 2025' has been implemented in the country, then why should these organizations to cricket be kept out of the scope of this law? The court has given strict instructions to the lawyers of the cricket board to clear their stand on this entire matter. The Supreme Court has sent a notice to BCCI and all the state cricket associations of the country asking why they should not be brought under the 'National Sports Governance Act, 2025'? The bench led by Chief Justice Surya Kant has today asked the board's lawyers to take instructions on this. If BCCI comes under the ambit of this new law of the Government of India, then the board will directly come under RTI (Right to Information) and government surveillance in sports administration will increase.

Before the big meeting of BCCI, Baroda and Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Board have been shown the door.
