New Delhi: Apple has entered the foldable smartphone segment. The company has introduced its first foldable screen iPhone Duo. This phone folds from the middle like a passport. There was talk about Apple's foldable iPhone for a long time and now the company has entered this segment.
The starting price of iPhone Duo has been kept at Rs 2,99,900. A model with 256GB storage will be available at this price. The 2TB variant of the phone with the highest storage will come for Rs 4,49,900. Apart from this, 512GB and 1TB storage options will also be available to the customers.
On opening the phone, it has a 7.6 inch inner Super Retina XDR display. This is said to be the largest display ever provided in an Apple iPhone. At the same time, a 5.4 inch cover screen is provided on the outside.
ProMotion and Always-On Display are supported in both the screens. The peak brightness of the inner screen is up to 3,000 nits. The company has also provided a split-screen feature for multitasking, so that users can work on multiple apps simultaneously.
A precision hinge made from more than 100 components has been used in the iPhone Duo. The body of the phone is made of titanium. Ceramic Shield 2 has been provided to protect the display. The device has also received IP68 rating for protection against water and dust.
For performance, A20 Pro chipset has been given in iPhone Duo. Vapor chamber is also present in the phone to control the temperature. The company claims that its cooling and performance is 35 percent better than iPhone 17 Pro. Dual battery setup is also provided in the phone.
Talking about camera setup, iPhone Duo has a 48-megapixel Fusion Main camera. Along with this, a 48 megapixel Fusion Ultra Wide camera is also available.
