Hyderabad – Pharmaceutical company MSD has expanded its tech center in Hyderabad MSD Launches New Technology Centre: The new center will further strengthen the company's global technology network and help drive innovation in the healthcare sector. This new office was inaugurated on Wednesday 10th September with great fanfare. This time from Telangana IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu himself was present.
MSD stands for Merck & Co. of America. This company has been manufacturing medicines for 130 years. At the tech center he raised in Hyderabad, AI now stands for artificial intelligence, data science, cloud, Cyber Securityautomation and software engineering will work on heavy technology. This center was started in 2025. It has now expanded to such an extent that it has become the most important part of MSD's global network
Teams from around the world will come together to discover new medicines and solutions for humans and animals. Abhishek Narayan Singh, Senior Vice President, Digital Human Health Division, MSD, was also present at the inauguration along with Minister Sridhar Babu.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Sridhar Babu said, “We are proud to welcome MSD today. Telangana has a network of more than 2000 bio companies. Hyderabad has now become the world capital of life sciences. Hyderabad has the largest number of FDA approved factories outside the US.” More than 75 Global Centers came up here this year and this year we are going to cross the mark of 100. This will provide good paying jobs to 4 lakh people in Telangana.

Abhishek Narayan Singh said, “Expansion of Hyderabad Tech Center is our commitment. We want to save lives of people around the world and for that we need good technology. Hyderabad has a lot of talent, the environment here is very heavy for technology, so we came here.
