Hibiscus Face Pack: If the face has started looking dry, lifeless or tired, then instead of expensive skin care products, an easy face pack can be prepared from some common things present in the house. Hibiscus flower is not limited to just worship or decoration. It contains natural compounds and antioxidants found in many plants, due to which it has also been used in traditional skin care.
A pack prepared by mixing aloe vera gel, curd and honey with hibiscus petals can help in moisturizing the skin and making it feel soft. However, if there are persistent blemishes or any skin problem on the face, it is better to seek expert advice instead of relying only on home remedies.
First of all, wash the hibiscus flowers thoroughly with clean water. Now separate the petals and grind them finely. If needed, some water can be added to it. Take out the prepared paste in a clean bowl and add aloe vera gel and curd to it and mix well.
If your skin remains dry, you can also add some honey to the mixture. Mix all the ingredients until a uniform paste is prepared.
Before applying the face pack, clean the face with a light face wash or water. After this, apply a thin layer of the prepared mixture on the face and neck. Avoid applying it on sensitive skin around the eyes and lips. After about 10 to 15 minutes, when the pack dries a little, wash the face with normal water. After this, dry the skin with a soft towel without rubbing.
Every ingredient included in this face pack has different properties. The natural plant compounds and antioxidants found in hibiscus may play a role in skin care. Aloe vera helps moisturize the skin, while the lactic acid in yogurt can help gently exfoliate the top layer of skin.
At the same time, honey can help in making the skin feel moisturizing. The combination of these ingredients can make the skin look clean, soft and fresh. However, this cannot guarantee that old spots and spots will be completely removed.
Household and natural ingredients do not feel the same for every person’s skin. Therefore, before applying this face pack on the entire face for the first time, do a patch test by applying a small amount on the hand or behind the ear. Do not use it if you feel burning, redness, itching or any kind of discomfort. In case of sensitive skin, allergies or pre-existing skin disease, it would be better to consult a specialist.
