Recruitment has been announced for over 500 posts in Madhya Pradesh, ranging from Subedar to Sub-Inspector (SI). Online applications opened on September 9 and will remain open until September 23. According to the official notification, a total of 507 appointments will be made in the Madhya Pradesh Police Department through this recruitment drive. **Vacancy Details**
The recruitment covers posts such as Subedar, Sub-Inspector (District Police Force) – 312, Sub-Inspector (Special Armed Force/SAF) – 69, Sub-Inspector (Ordnance) – 10, Sub-Inspector (Photo) – 9, Sub-Inspector (Questioned Documents/QD) – 4, and Sub-Inspector (Fingerprint) – 22. Notably, out of the total 507 vacancies, the highest number of posts (312) is for the rank of Sub-Inspector (SI).

**Eligibility Criteria**
A graduation degree from a recognized university is mandatory for the posts of Subedar, SI (District Police Force), and SI (SAF). Specific educational qualifications have been prescribed for the technical posts.

Regarding the age limit, the maximum age is set at 33 years for male candidates in the General category. Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and OBC categories, as well as women from Madhya Pradesh, will be eligible for an upper age limit of 38 years, in accordance with the rules.

**Selection Process**
The selection process will consist of two stages. First, a preliminary written exam will be conducted; successful candidates will then be called for the main examination. Following this, a Physical Proficiency Test (PPT), document verification, and an interview will be held. The final merit list will be prepared based on the main exam, physical test, and interview.

**Application Fee**
The application fee is set at ₹500 for the General category and ₹250 for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS candidates from Madhya Pradesh. Salary Details
According to the notification, selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from ₹36,200 to ₹1,14,800 under Level-9.

When will the correction window open?
The facility to make corrections to the application form will be available until September 28, 2026. Meanwhile, the preliminary exam will be conducted starting October 28, 2026.
