Mumbai: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered an FIR in the case to the death of Disha Salian, former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Let us tell you, this action has been taken after the instructions of the Bombay High Court. The names of many people including Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) faction leader Aditya Thackeray have been mentioned in the FIR. Disha Salian died in June 2020 in Mumbai. Sushant Singh Rajput also died a few days after his death. This is the reason why Disha's family has been demanding a re-investigation in this matter for a long time.
CBI has registered the case on the basis of the statement of Disha's father Satish Salian. He has alleged that an attempt was made to influence or destroy evidence to his daughter's death. The complaint demands investigation into allegations of alleged criminal conspiracy, making the incident look like suicide and tampering with evidence.
Apart from Aditya Thackeray, many names including actor Dino Morea, Sooraj Pancholi, Rhea Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Rohan Roy and former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh have been mentioned in the father's statement. The names of police officer Sachin Vaze, DCP Vishal Thakur and some other policemen have also been mentioned in the complaint. However, the allegations leveled against all of them can be confirmed only after the investigation is completed.
Satish Salian had recorded his statement before the CBI on September 11, two days before the FIR was registered. His lawyer Nilesh Ojha had also reached the agency's office during this time. The lawyer had alleged that serious crimes and aspects to evidence should be investigated in the case.
CBI had earlier sought documents and other records to Disha Salian's death from Malvani police. Now, following the instructions of the Bombay High Court, the agency has started a fresh investigation in the case. The court had also directed to appoint a senior CBI officer to monitor the investigation.
