**What are the application criteria?**
For the rural Home Guard post, candidates must have passed at least the 7th standard. For the Urban Home Guard post, candidates must have passed the 10th standard (Matriculation) examination.
For the Rural Home Guard post, candidates must be permanent residents of the specific block in Deoghar district from which they are applying.
For the Urban Home Guard post, candidates must be ordinary residents of the urban area of Deoghar district.
A self-attested residence certificate issued by a competent authority must be submitted as proof of residence.
For both rural and urban posts, the candidate's age must be between 19 and 40 years as of January 1, 2026.
What is the application fee?
The application fee for the Deoghar Home Guard recruitment is set at ₹100. Candidates can pay the fee via the online payment gateway available on the official website while submitting the application form. The application will be considered final only after the successful payment of the fee.
What is the selection process?

Training and Enrollment: Selected candidates will undergo basic Home Guard training. Upon successful completion of the training, they will be enrolled as Home Guards.
