Haridwar. A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Chandighat area in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Allegedly, a young man attacked his father with sticks in Chandighat colony here, due to which the father died on the spot. This incident has created a stir in the entire area.

The attack took place after a family dispute

According to information received from sources, this incident took place in Chandighat colony under Chandighat outpost. This Saturday morning a sudden dispute started between father and son over some domestic matter. As the dispute escalated, the accused fatally attacked his father with sticks.

Injured father died on the spot

The victim died on the spot as the father sustained serious injuries during the attack. By the time the nearby people and family members got the news of this incident, the incident had already happened.

Police took possession of the body and started investigation

As soon as information about this incident was received, Chandighat outpost police immediately reached the spot and took the body in their custody and sent it for post-mortem. The police administration is collecting evidence in view of the seriousness of this serious matter. Also, legal action has been initiated.
