Mouth ulcers are a common problem, but when they occur, it becomes difficult to eat, drink water and sometimes even speak. Usually these blisters heal on their own after some time, but the burning sensation and pain during this time can be quite unbearable.
According to Baba Ramdev, eating excessively spicy, sour or spicy food can cause mouth ulcers in some people. Additionally, injuries inside the mouth, dry mouth, and stomach- problems can also cause ulcers.
These blisters may also occur repeatedly in people suffering from acidity or stomach irritation. However, frequent occurrence of blisters may also be due to vitamin deficiency, certain medications or other medical reasons.
When blisters develop, extremely spicy, sour, salty and hot foods should be avoided for a few days. This may increase irritation and pain in the ulcers.
Along with this, it is necessary to take care of oral hygiene. Drink adequate amount of water and avoid touching the blisters repeatedly with tongue or finger.
Baba Ramdev has advised to use Triphala powder, Amla, Aloe Vera and wheatgrass.
According to him, people who are suffering from bile or stomach problems can consume Triphala powder with lukewarm water before sleeping at night. It has also been advised to drink Amla and Aloe Vera juice in the morning and wheatgrass juice during the day.
However, these measures should not be considered a definitive cure for mouth ulcers. It is advisable to consult a specialist before starting regular consumption of any herbal or Ayurvedic product.
Baba Ramdev's video explains the solution of heating blue cloth and applying it with aloe vera juice on large ulcers.
But, this is a matter of caution. Blue soap, called copper sulphate, is a chemical substance and is not safe to apply on mouth ulcers. This may cause irritation to the skin or mucous membranes of the mouth. Therefore, avoid trying this remedy without doctor's advice.
If mouth ulcers are not healing within a few days, are recurring, extremely painful or are very large, it is necessary to consult a doctor or dentist.
In particular, if the blisters are accompanied by symptoms such as fever, difficulty swallowing, weight loss, or lesions in other parts of the body, it should not be ignored.
Although most common mouth ulcers are not serious, recurring or persistent ulcers may require investigation for another problem.
