In Budget 2024, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had announced to reduce the basic customs duty on smartphones from 20 to 15 percent, the effect of this announcement is now visible on the prices of smartphones. Apple has reduced the prices of iPhone models by 3 to 4 percent after the Budget 2024, due to which the prices of other models including iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 have been reduced.
