At this critical moment for our country, we will do everything we can to make sure she wins in November. We hope you will join us,” Obama said in a post on X. Her candidacy came after US President Joe Biden announced his withdrawal from the race amid heavy pressure from fellow Democrats. He endorsed Harris as his successor, who also received support from former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama in the White House race. Former US President Barack Obama recently publicly endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the US presidency after Joe Biden dropped out of the race. Obama said he and former US First Lady Michelle Obama will do everything possible to ensure Harris wins the presidential election in November.
