Recipe for making spicy Tinda vegetable

If you want to try something new and spicy in your everyday meal, then Tinda's spicy vegetable can be a great option. Many people do not like Tinda, but if it is prepared correctly, it can taste amazing. This recipe can be prepared using the common spices in your home. Material:

– 500 gms Tinda (peeled and cut into pieces)

– 1 medium-sized onion (finely chopped)

– 2 tomatoes (finely chopped)

– 2-3 green chillies (chopped)

– 1/2 tsp cumin

– 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

– 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

– 1/2 tsp coriander powder

– 1/4 tsp garam masala

– 1/4 tsp dried mango powder

– 2 tablespoons of oil

– Salt to taste

– Green coriander (for garnishing)

Method:

1. Preparation of Tinda: Firstly wash the Tinda thoroughly, peel it and cut it into small pieces. Keep it aside.

2. Prepare the Tadka: Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. When the cumin seeds crackle, add finely chopped green chilies and onions. Fry the onions until golden brown.

3. Add spices: Now add turmeric, red chili, and coriander powder and fry the spices well. After this add chopped tomatoes and cook until the tomatoes become soft and dissolve in the spices.

4. Add Tinda: When the spices are roasted, add chopped Tinda to it and mix well. Now add salt to it and cover it and let it cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes. Keep stirring it in between so that the Tinda does not burn.

5. Chatpata twist: When the tindas become soft and fully cooked, add garam masala and dry mango powder to it. The dry mango powder adds a tang and spiciness to the curry, which makes it even more delicious.

6. Garnish and serve: Turn off the gas and garnish the vegetable with green coriander. Chatpati Tinda ki Sabzi is ready. Serve it with hot roti, paratha or puri.

Special Tips:

– If you want to make it more spicy, you can also add some chaat masala to it.

– Adding garlic-ginger paste to this vegetable enhances its taste.
