Very easy recipe for making spinach bhujia

Material:

– 2 cups fresh spinach (finely chopped)

– 1 medium-sized onion (finely chopped)

– 2-3 green chillies (finely chopped)

– 1/2 tsp cumin

– 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

– 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

– 1/4 tsp garam masala

– 1 tablespoon of oil

– Salt to taste

– 1 tablespoon gram flour (optional)

Method:

1. Preparation of spinach: Firstly wash the spinach thoroughly and chop it finely. Keep it aside.

2. Prepare the Tadka: Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. When the cumin seeds crackle, add chopped green chilies and onions. Fry the onions until they turn light golden.

3. Add spices: Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix the spices well and let it cook for a few seconds.

4. Add spinach: Now add the finely chopped spinach and mix it well with the spices. Let the spinach cook for 5-7 minutes on low flame. Spinach releases its water when cooked, so there is no need to cover it and cook it.

5. Gram Flour Tadka (optional): If you want to make the Palak Bhujia a little thicker and crispier, then you can add 1 tablespoon of gram flour to it. Mix the gram flour well and fry it for a few minutes so that its rawness goes away.

6. Add garam masala: When the spinach is completely cooked and all the water has evaporated, add garam masala and mix it. Now turn off the gas.

7. Garnish and serve: Palak ki Bhujia is ready. Serve it with hot parathas, roti or rice. You can eat it for breakfast or serve it as a side dish.

Special Tips:

– You can also add garlic paste to enhance the taste of Bhujia.

– If you want to make it more healthy, then you can add some tomatoes or boiled potatoes to it.
