How to make Chocolate Modak

Enjoy yummy chocolate modak
  • Heat water in a pan and place chocolate in a bowl over it. It takes 4-5 minutes for the chocolate to melt completely. To melt the chocolate properly, it is important to make all the pieces of chocolate of the same size.
  • To make the filling, put ghee in another pan, add cashews, almonds, pistachios and coconut and fry for a while.
  • Add condensed milk to it and prepare a mixture.
  • For modaks, you can also prepare condensed milk at home. For this, take one cup of sugar in two cups of milk and thicken it by stirring continuously in a pan. When the milk reduces to less than half, add baking soda to it and then keep stirring the milk continuously for 6-7 minutes. Turn off the gas. Use this condensed milk in modaks.
  • Pour melted chocolate into a polythene cone and fill half of the modak mould with it.
  • After this, fill it with the filling prepared for modak. Now pour melted chocolate on top once again.
  • Keep them in the fridge for ten minutes to set.
  • If you like, you can also add a little Nutella or peanut butter in between instead of the filling.
  • Your chocolate modaks are ready. Take them out easily.
  • To make modaks, use silicone mould instead of plastic as it makes it easier to remove the modaks.

So, this time you must try making these modaks with chocolate for your Ganpati. Believe me, you have never eaten a more delicious modak than these. Especially, children will be very happy to eat these modaks made for Bappa.
