Xiaomi India has announced the appointment of Katrina Kaif as its new brand ambassador. This is not the first time that Xiaomi and Katrina are working together. Katrina has previously been a brand ambassador for Xiaomi. In this new role, Katrina will promote Xiaomi's smartphones, TVs and tablets.
Xiaomi has completed its 10th anniversary in the Indian market, the company entered the Indian market in 2014. Xiaomi is working towards making its relationship with its customers even stronger.
On this occasion, the Chief Marketing Officer of Xiaomi India said, “As we complete a decade in the Indian market, bringing Katrina Kaif back to the Xiaomi family feels like a perfect celebration. Both Xiaomi and Katrina have special capabilities that have connected them to millions of people. Together we will introduce new and innovative technologies.”
Katrina Kaif said on this occasion, “I am very excited to be associated with Xiaomi again, especially when the company is celebrating its 10th anniversary in India. I am ready to represent Xiaomi and look forward to meeting the fans with its new innovations.”
The last time Xiaomi signed Katrina Kaif for its Y series was when the company launched the Redmi Y-series in 2017. Now after 7 years, Katrina is back with the brand. It will be interesting to see what new the company offers in the Indian market.
Recently, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Watch 5 Active, which is priced under Rs 3,000. The watch features a large display and long battery life, and can be used for up to 18 days on a single charge. It includes Bluetooth calling, Alexa support, 200 watch faces, and essential health tracking features.
