Make Bhindi Chatpati Sabzi in a different way: Spicy and delicious recipe

Bhindi (Ladyfinger) is a popular vegetable in Indian kitchens. It is cooked in different ways, but have you ever made spicy bhindi ki sabzi? It is not only spicy, but its taste is also very special. Today we will tell you a new and tasty way to make spicy bhindi ki sabzi, which is completely different from your everyday vegetables.

Material:

– Okra – 250 grams (washed and dried)

– Oil- 2 tablespoons

– Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon

– Onion – 1 large (finely chopped)

– Tomato – 1 large (finely chopped)

– Green chilli – 2 (chopped)

– Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp

– Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp

– Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon

– Coriander powder – 1 tablespoon

– Mango powder – 1/2 teaspoon

– Garam masala – 1/4 tsp

– Salt – as per taste

– Green coriander – for garnishing (finely chopped)

Method of Preparation:

1. Preparation of Bhindi: First of all wash the bhindi and dry it well, as there should be no moisture in the bhindi. Then cut it into small pieces of 1 inch.

2. Fry the ladyfinger: Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan. Add chopped ladyfinger and fry on low flame till it turns light golden. This will eliminate the stickiness of the ladyfinger. When the ladyfinger turns light golden, take it out and keep it aside.

3. Prepare the spices: Add the remaining oil in the same pan and fry the cumin seeds in it. After this, add finely chopped onion and fry it till it turns golden. After frying the onion, add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies and fry it lightly too.

4. Tadka of spices: Now add chopped tomatoes and cook it till it becomes soft. Then add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and salt and mix well. Cook the spices till the oil starts separating.

5. Add ladyfinger: Now add the roasted ladyfinger to the masala and cook it on low flame for 5-7 minutes so that the ladyfingers absorb the flavour of the spices well.

6. Add mango powder and garam masala: Finally, add mango powder and garam masala and mix well. These spices will give a spicy and sour taste to the bhindi.

7. Garnishing and serving method: The spicy bhindi sabzi is ready. Garnish it with freshly chopped coriander and serve with hot paratha, roti or dal-rice.

Tips:

– Before cutting ladyfinger, dry it thoroughly, so that the vegetable does not become sticky.

– If you want, you can make it more delicious by adding peanut powder or sesame seeds to ladyfinger.

– If you like spicy food, you can increase the amount of green chillies and red chilli powder.

With this recipe, you can prepare ladyfinger vegetable in a new way, which will double the taste of your plate.
