The group has officially joined the star-studded line-up of performers, which includes BLACKPINK's Lisa, Shawn Mendes and more. On September 6, the organizers announced that LE SSERAFIM would be performing at the 2024 MTV VMAs Pre-Show, set to take place on September 11.
This marks a significant moment for the group as they stand alongside Lisa as the only Kpop act taking the stage this year. In addition to LE SSERAFIM and Lisa, the 2024 VMAs will feature performances from a host of big names, including Sabrina Carpenter, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Halsey, LL Cool J, Megan Thee Stallion and Lenny Kravitz, among others.
Launched in 1984, the MTV Video Music Awards honour the best in music video production. This year's edition is packed with excitement, with Taylor Swift leading the nominations with 12 nods. Other top contenders include Post Malone, Ariana Grande, and Sabrina Carpenter.
LE SSERAFIM, who debuted under HYBE's Source Music in May 2022, has rapidly gained global popularity. The group, consisting of Sakura, Chaewon, Yunjin, Kazuha and Eunchae, has delivered chart-topping hits such as Antifragile, Unforgiven and Perfect Night. Their latest release, Crazy, dropped on August 30, 2024, as part of their fourth mini-album.
Following her departure from YG Entertainment, Lisa established her own label, LLOUD, in February 2024. She made a powerful comeback with her single Rockstar in June and later collaborated with Rosalía for New Woman. Fans can also look forward to her acting debut in The White Lotus Season 3.
