OnePlus users have been facing the green line display issue for a while and the company has finally offered them support. But now, brands like Motorola and Vivo reportedly face similar issues as their users are seeing green lines on their phone’s display as well. Most people have talked about the issue starting after they install an update from the manufacturer and it seems Motorola and Vivo users have the same story to share.
OnePlus users have been bothered by the issue and now other brands are also facing displeasure from their users. So why is this green line display issue happening and what is the cause for it? Truth be told, we don’t know the actual reason but it seems that some updates are affecting the hardware of the devices, which then results in the green line on the display. Most of the incidents have involved phones with an OLED or AMOLED display. Does it have anything to do with the panel or the manufacturer of the display, those links are hard to be sure about.
But one thing is clear, with the latest developments, all eyes will be on Vivo and Motorola to take heed of their customers and offer them a solution. It seems the problems faced by Motorola and Vivo users does not affect a particular series or model but even the mid-range Moto phones are seeing the issue even when they don’t have any physical damage.

Meanwhile, OnePlus was recently in the news as some users complained about dead motherboard issues with models like the OnePlus 9 Pro and the 10 Pro. One such affected user approached the OnePlus service repair team who said that changing the dead motherboard would cost them Rs 42,000 which is almost the price of a new OnePlus 10 Pro unit.
The company officially said, “We know motherboard repairs can be costly, but we’re working hard to make them more affordable. We ask that any customers that are affected by a similar issue to get in contact with Customer Service so we can help resolve the situation as soon as possible.”
