Talking to the media after the meeting, the Leader of Opposition said that due to the wrong decisions of the current state government, many young men and women of the state are dying. The youth of the state are forced to run in the humid heat of Bhado in the hope of getting a government job. But the state government and the department neither got the students medically examined during the race nor made arrangements for their food and drink. Most of the students reach the center late at night for the race and wait for their turn.

He said that this government has become insensitive. BJP has demanded from the state government a compensation of Rs. 50 lakhs to all the affected families and a government job to one of the family members. He clearly said that if the present government does not fulfill this demand, then after this election, when the BJP government comes, it will fulfill this demand within three months of the formation of the government.
