Ranchi: CPI ML leaders met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his residence on Kanke Road on Thursday. For the first time after the merger of MASS into CPI (ML), Dipankar Bhattacharya along with Nirsa MLA Arup Chatterjee and Bagodar MLA Vinod Singh met the Chief Minister.

During this meeting, the leaders of the Left parties informed about the merger of MASS with CPI (ML). Along with this, there was also a discussion about the alliance in the assembly elections. The role of the Left parties in the assembly elections to be held this year and contesting the elections together under the India Alliance was discussed. There was a discussion about strengthening the India Alliance in Jharkhand and taking it forward and fighting the BJP as per the strategy.
