Subhadra Yojana: Both the central and state governments are working hard to empower women. The government has also started many schemes for their upliftment. Many schemes are going to be started in the coming time. One of them is Subhadra Yojana. Under this scheme, women can get 10 thousand rupees annually from the government. The amount will be given in two installments. Women from 21 to 60 years can take advantage of the scheme. Beneficiary women can apply by visiting Anganwadi centers, block offices, service centers and public service centers.
The government will give 50 thousand rupees in five years.
This scheme will run from the financial year 2024-25 to the year 2028-29. Under the scheme, beneficiary women will be given five thousand rupees twice a year. That is, women will get 10 thousand rupees in a year from the government. In this way, the beneficiary woman will get 50 thousand rupees during the five-year scheme period. Government employees and women filing income tax returns will not get the benefit of the scheme.
PM Modi will launch the scheme.
Only a few days are left for the launch of Subhadra Yojana. PM Modi will inaugurate this scheme on 17th September. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Odisha on 17th September. During this time PM Modi will inaugurate this scheme (Subhadra Yojana). This scheme is for the women of Odisha. Let us tell you, the scheme was announced by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Manjhi in the state cabinet meeting. In the state cabinet meeting on 22 August, it has been decided to implement the Subhadra scheme from the current financial year 2024-25 to the financial year 2028-29. A total budget of Rs 55825 crore has been fixed for this scheme to be implemented by 2028-29.
Five thousand rupees will be given on Rakhi Purnima and International Women's Day
Under the Subhadra scheme, financial assistance of five thousand rupees will be given to women twice a year. Every year, every beneficiary will be paid rupees on Rakhi Purnima and International Women's Day. To bring transparency in the distribution of assistance, the financial assistance amount will be distributed directly to the DBT bank account of the eligible beneficiaries through the Aadhaar Payment Bridge System. To promote digital transactions in the rural and urban areas of the state, Subhadra debit card will be provided to the beneficiaries.

Who can get the benefit of the scheme
Forms can be filled online and offline.
To become a beneficiary of Subhadra Yojana, the form can be filled offline. Apart from this, online application can be made through Subhadra portal. Forms are available free of cost at Anganwadi Centre, Block Office and Mo Seva Kendra. Eligible beneficiaries will get Subhadra ATM card.
