Government scheme: Farmers and animal husbandry should apply online by 25 September, they will get this benefit

Many types of schemes are being run by the central and state governments in the interest of farmers. Many schemes are also being run for farmers in Rajasthan. The Bhajanlal government of the state has decided to start a knowledge enhancement program in the budget announcement of the year 2024-25 for the benefit of farmers. Under this program, these progressive young farmers will be sent to those countries in the first phase.

For this, young progressive farmers can apply online on the Rajkisan Saathi portal through their nearest e-Mitra center till 25 September. Out of the 100 young farmers selected in the first phase under the Knowledge Enhancement Program, 80 will be from the agriculture sector and 20 from the dairy and animal husbandry sector. The age of the farmers applying for training in the agriculture sector should be less than 55 years and it is also necessary to have a valid passport.

These are the eligibility criteria.

For selection under the Knowledge Enhancement Program started by the Bhajan Lal Government of Rajasthan, a general farmer should have at least one hectare of land and Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and women farmers should have 0.5 hectares of agricultural land, should be doing farming continuously for the last 10 years, the farmer should be adopting high agricultural technology such as protected farming, micro irrigation, mulching, solar energy pump, drone, fertigation, automation, farm pond, diggi etc.

On the other hand, a milk producer or animal keeper should have a dairy of at least 20 cows and buffaloes or he should own 10 camels or 50 sheep and goats. He should be associated with the dairy or animal husbandry profession for the last 10 years, should use high animal husbandry or dairy technology, should have been selected for district or state level award in the dairy sector and should be recognized as a progressive animal keeper in his area.
