Tripti Dimri came into the limelight with Ranbir Kapoor's film 'Animal' released last year, to such an extent that today she has no dearth of films. On Katrina Kaif's beauty brand 'Kay by Katrina' YouTube channel, Tripti said, "I am from Uttarakhand, but I was born and brought up in Delhi. So my parents and family are in Delhi. When I shifted to Mumbai, that time was very difficult for me. There were some people in the society who used to say things to my parents like why are you sending your daughter to this profession. She will be ruined. She will live with the wrong people. She will take wrong decisions for herself. No one will marry her. She will not get married."
Tripti further said, “There came a point when I was confused, because when you don't have work, you lose hope. But one thing I knew was that I could not go back to my parents and say that I couldn't do it.”
Tripti also told that after watching her film 'Laila Majnu', her parents were very proud of her. Her father called her and he was very happy. This film of Tripti was released in the year 2018, in which Avinash Tiwari was seen opposite her. The film was directed by Sajid Ali. After 6 years, this film was re-released on 9 August this year. There was a lot of discussion about this film on re-release. People liked the film a lot.
In the year 2018, a comedy film named 'Poster Boys' was released. Tripti made her debut with this film. Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade were in the lead roles in this film. Apart from acting, Shreyas also directed this film.
Tripti's next film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' is going to be released in theatres on the occasion of Diwali this year. Kartik Aryan is opposite her in this film. Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit are also a part of this film directed by Anees Bazmee. Ajay Devgan's 'Singham Again' is also going to be released on Diwali.
