Sana Khan, the former Indian actress who left the entertainment world for religious reasons, became emotional during a recent podcast as she reflected on her past missteps.

After her stint on the sixth season of Bigg Boss, Sana announced on Instagram on October 8, 2020, that she would be leaving showbiz to pursue a spiritual path. Shortly thereafter, on November 21, 2020, she married religious figure Mufti Anas Syed.

The couple welcomed their first child, named Syed Tariq Jameel in honor of the renowned religious scholar, on July 5, 2023.

In a recent episode of Rubina Dilaik’s podcast, Sana shared her life experiences. While discussing her transformation, she said, “I can’t believe I went from being a simple girl in a shalwar kameez with braided hair to wearing backless dresses.” As she spoke, tears filled her eyes, revealing her deep emotions.

Seeing her upset, Rubina moved in to comfort her, saying, “Your journey is truly inspiring.”
