In the first Test match between India and Bangladesh in Chennai, India is in the lead. After scoring 376 in the first session, Bangladesh was left reeling at 112-8 at tea. With the ball, the Indian bowlers were unstoppable. After Jasprit Bumrah removed Shadman Islam, India claimed their first wicket. Next, Akash Deep dealt Bangladesh a double blow when he removed Mominul Haque and Zakir Hasan in quick succession. After joining the party, Mohammed Siraj dismissed Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, and Bumrah came back to fire Mushfiqur Rahim.
Shakib Al Hasan and Litton Das attempted to hold off the Indian bowlers, scoring 51 runs for the sixth wicket; however, Ravindra Jadeja dismissed both of them in quick succession, putting Bangladesh in serious danger. Morne Morkel, the bowling coach for India, was ecstatic to see the Indian pacers go crazy. SAW
