Renowned Tamil and Telugu film industry choreographer Jani was arrested in Goa yesterday by the Telangana Cyderabad police for allegedly assaulting his 21-year-old dance assistant. He has been arrested under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) act as he had abused the girl when she was a minor. While the choreographer is yet to react on the sexual allegations against him, his wife Ayesha addressed the media on Friday and alleged it as conspiracy .

Speaking to the media channel TV9, Ayesha claimed that she knows her husband well and she said that the allegation of Jani harassing a 16-year-old is disgusting and it is not true, Ayesha asked the girl to show proper evidence before alleging sexual assault. Speaking to the media, Jani master's wife said that there must be a larger conspiracy behind this to tarnish his reputation,

Ayesha also asked the complainant why she did not reveal this earlier and is coming out only now and added that the victim once said that she is grateful for choreographer Jani's existence and owes her career to him.
