The tenth Indian bowler to achieve 400 international wickets is Jasprit Bumrah

Indian speed leader In international cricket, Jasprit Bumrah became the tenth bowler from his squad to reach 400 wickets.

Bumrah accomplished this feat during India’s first Test match in Chennai against Bangladesh.

Bumrah had an economy rate of 4.50 when taking 4/50 in 11 overs during Bangladesh’s first innings of the match. Shadman Islam, Muhammad Rahim, Hasan Mahmud, and Taskin Ahmed were all dismissed by him.

Bumrah has now taken 401 wickets at an average of 21.01 in 196 international matches, with his best bowling stats coming from 6/19. He is the only Indian pacer who has accomplished this feat as a sixth.

Bumrah has taken 163 wickets at an average of 20.49 in 37 Tests, his best stats coming from 6/27. In the extended version, he has ten five-wicket scores.

With a top statistic of 6/19, Bumrah has claimed 149 wickets at an average of 23.55 in 89 one-day internationals. In the format, he has taken two wickets.

With the best stats of 3/7, Bumrah has claimed 89 wickets at an average of 17.74 in 70 Twenty20 Internationals.

Anil Kumble (953 wickets), Ravichandran Ashwin (744 wickets), and Harbhajan Singh (707 wickets) are India’s top three wicket takers in international cricket.

When the game started, Bangladesh chose to field first after winning the toss.

After the top-order fell apart, India was reduced to 34/3. India entered the game as opener Yashasvi Jaiswal (56 in 118 balls, nine fours) and Rishabh Pant (39 in 52 balls, six fours) stitched together a 62-run stand for the fourth wicket. Following India’s downfall to 144/6, a 199-run partnership between Ravichandran Ashwin (113 in 133 balls, 11 fours and 2 sixes) and Ravindra Jadeja (86* in 117 balls, 10 fours and 2 sixes) helped India reach 376 in 91.2 overs.

Bangladesh’s best spinner, Hasan Mahmud (5/83), destroyed the Indian top order by dismissing Virat Kohli (6), Shubman Gill (0), and captain Rohit Sharma (6). For 55 runs, Taskin Ahmed also claimed three wickets.

Throughout their first innings, Bangladesh consistently lost wickets. Bangladesh’s batting was broken by Bumrah (4/50) and Akash Deep (2/19), despite a short fight from Shakib Al Hasan (32), Litton Das (22) and Mehidy Hasan Miraz (27*). Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Siraj each claimed two wickets.
