New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Sahibganj on his one-day visit to Jharkhand today where he paid floral tribute to Sidhu-Kanho. Sidhu Murmu and Kanho Murmu were real brothers who led the Santhal rebellion. It was a tribal rebellion that took place in 1855-56 in the Santhal Pargana region of the present Jharkhand state against the atrocities of the British, moneylenders and landlords. Even today, the people of the tribal community there worship Veer Sidhu-Kanho like God. In 2002, a postage stamp was also issued in memory of Sidhu-Kanho. Sidhu-Kanho Memorial Park has also been built in Ranchi.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also flagged off BJP's Parivartan Yatra in Sahibganj. Amit Shah said that today Jharkhand BJP is starting its Parivartan Yatra. This Yatra will reach the villages of Jharkhand and will give the message of change. We have to remove this corrupt government and bring a government that stops corruption.

Shah said, this Parivartan Yatra is not just to change the government or the Chief Minister, it is a journey to bring change in the lives of the native brothers, OBCs, tribals and Dalits here. The JMM government here has done injustice to the backwards. I have come to urge all sections, Dalits, tribals and mothers and sisters of Jharkhand to remove the Hemant Soren government and form a lotus government under the leadership of Modi, Jharkhand will become the number one state of our country.

The Union Home Minister said that the vote bank of Lalu Yadav's party RJD, Hemant Soren's party JMM and Rahul Baba's Congress are infiltrators. They do not stop infiltration due to fear of their vote bank. Amit Shah said, change the government of Jharkhand, I promise you that we will throw out every single infiltrator. In our state and Santhal, the number of infiltrators is increasing in place of tribals and we have to stop this. Only BJP can do this work. I want to ask that Chief Minister Hemant Soren has promised to give 5 lakh jobs every year, did he give those jobs?
