Mumbai Rain: City Expects Light Drizzles; Heavy Showers Likely by Sunday and Next Week

Mumbai: The city is set to witness light to moderate rain on Saturday. There is a possibility of thundershowers in the day in the city as well as in the suburbs. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees Celsius and the minimum will settle at 26 degrees. According to some solo weather forecasts, there will be heavy rain on Sunday.

IMD's 7-Day Weather Forecast:- On September 20, expect a minimum temperature of 26.0 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 32.0 degrees Celsius , with a generally cloudy sky accompanied by light rain or drizzle. - September 21 will have a minimum of 26.0 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 32.0 degrees Celsius , with partly cloudy skies by the afternoon or evening. - On September 22, temperatures will range from 25.0 degrees Celsius to 32.0 degrees Celsius , with partly cloudy skies developing towards the afternoon or evening. - September 23 will see similar conditions, with a minimum of 24.0 degrees Celsius , a maximum of 32.0 degrees Celsius , and partly cloudy skies later in the day. - On September 24, temperatures will range from 25.0 degrees Celsius to 31.0 degrees Celsius , and the sky will be generally cloudy with light rain. - September 25 will have a minimum temperature of 25.0 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 30.0 degrees Celsius , with rain throughout the day. - Finally, on September 26, expect temperatures between 26.0 degrees Celsius and 30.0 degrees Celsius , along with rainy weather. Solo Weather Forecasts for MumbaiA weather enthusiast on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, said there will be heavy rain on Thursday. The X user named Natarajan Ganesan said, “Next week looks promising for Western India! Interior #Maharashtra along with Konkan including #Mumbai & South #Gujarat is likely to benefit. Heavy rains at few places with an increase in intensity around next week Thursday”.

In another post, he added, “One last active phase before bidding adieu! Excess rains likely over #Maharashtra, #MadhyaPradesh & ##Bihar,#WestBengal next week. Parts of south India too likely to benefit September last week avg is less so deep blue might not indicate very heavy rains”.
