In Mathur, Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday afternoon, three men are accused of kidnapping a 13-year-old girl, offering her drunken water, and then grabbing her when she was semi-conscious inside a moving vehicle. Having committed the horrific act, the defendant abandoned her under a flyover and fled the scene.

The kid eventually made it home, where she told her parents about the experience and complained of excruciating stomach discomfort. Doctors at a private hospital, where her family had her hospitalized, verified that she had been raped. Her father then complained to the police about this.

In her statement, the survivor revealed that one of the accused had given her water while she had gone grocery shopping. The authorities said that the water was tainted with something, and the survivor experienced vertigo shortly after consuming it. Two more teens arrived later, and they reportedly pushed her into a vehicle before driving off into a desolate location, according to TOI.

The three accused, who are now at large, have a complaint against them filed at the Chhata police station, according to authorities on Friday. The identities of the first two accused have been established, and the third accused is being sought. Superintendent of Police (SP) Trigun Bisen reportedly said that a medical examination was performed at a government hospital on Friday, according to the TOI report. According to Bisen, the survivor was brought before a court and her testimony was recorded on Saturday.

According to Bisen, “Based on the complaint by the girl’s father, the police have registered a FIR under the new criminal laws, Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) section 138 (abduction), 376DA (gang rape where the victim is under 16 years old) and sections of the POSCO Act.”

Bisen said, “All three of the accused will be arrested shortly.”
