Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois are set for mega paydays for their IBF heavyweight title showdown on Saturday night.

Since losing back-to-back fights to Oleksandr Usyk, Joshua - who is looking to become a three-time world champion - has won four successive bouts including a knockout win over former UFC champion Francis Ngannou in March. The former two-time unified heavyweight champion has seen a career resurgence and has set his sights on returning to the summit of the heavyweight division.

Next in line for the 34-year-old is Dubois, who saw his unbeaten record snapped against Joe Joyce back in 2020. The Brit, who is set to defend the IBF title for the first time, rebounded with four straight wins before suffering a controversial loss to Usyk.

Following that defeat, the 27-year-old returned to winning ways against Jarrell Miller and shocked the world when he crushed Filip Hrgovic for the interim IBF title. Dubois was later elevated to champion status after Usyk vacated the belt.

Joshua's clash with Dubois will take place at Wembley Stadium, which will be the former world champion's return to the iconic venue for the first time since 2018. For Dubois, it will be the first time he has fought under the arch in London, the home city of both men.

Both Joshua and Dubois are looking to win and put themselves at the front of the line to face the victor of Usyk-Tyson Fury II. Regardless of the result, though, the British duo will leave the ring significantly wealthier.

While the official figures for the purse and prize money have yet to be confirmed, Joshua will reportedly earn a guaranteed purse of £6 million for the contest. Dubois, meanwhile, is scheduled to rake in an estimated £3.5m guaranteed.

Both men could see their figures balloon depending on pay-per-view sales. Joshua leads the 60/40 split in PPV buys, which means his earnings could surpass £25m while Dubois could take home £10m.

This purse fee also doesn't account for extra prize money attributed to winning or going the distance. As a result, the duo can earn themselves even more going forward. Official earnings will be revealed after the fight.

For Dubois, this stands to significantly represent his most lucrative fight in his career. In his loss to Usyk last year, the 27-year-old earned £1,630,475.

As for Joshua, this fight represents a bumper payday but still pales in comparison to his stunning £39.8m bag for facing Ngannou. Remarkably, Joshua banked £3.3m for every strike he landed in the contest having knocked out the former UFC champion with just 12 punches.
