Nitish Kumar reviewed the project related to the redevelopment of Punaura Dham and gave these instructions

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday reviewed the redevelopment work at Punaura Dham in Sitamarhi district at 'Sankalp' located at 1 Anne Marg. During the review, Tourism Department Secretary Lokesh Kumar Singh presented the proposed work plan and gave detailed information to the CM regarding the features of the redevelopment of Punaura Dham.

During this, a short film related to this project was shown. During the review, the Chief Minister said that the redevelopment work of Mata Janaki temple in Punaura Dham should be done in a grand manner. He said that every kind of support will be given for this by the state government.

He said that when the redevelopment work of Mata Janaki in Punaura Dham is done in a grand manner, then the devotees who visit the Ram temple in Ayodhya will come to Punaura Dham in large numbers and visit Mata Janaki. The devotees who visit Mata Janaki will also go to Ayodhya.

Instructions to speed up the construction of Ram Janaki Path

Let us tell you that with the connectivity between Punaura Dham and Ayodhya, it will become easier for the devotees to have darshan of both Lord Ram and Mata Janaki.

He directed NHAI officials to expedite the construction of the proposed Ram Janaki Path so that direct connectivity can be established with Sitamarhi.

A plan was made for the beautification of Punaura Dham

Nitish Kumar said that the ghats in the ponds in the premises should also be constructed in a better manner. The temple premises should be beautified in a planned manner so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience. Keeping in mind the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan, this temple premises will look green and beautiful due to the availability of greenery and water in the premises.

On this occasion, Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Deepak Kumar, Secretary of Tourism Department Lokesh Kumar Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Anupam Kumar, Secretary to the Chief Minister Kumar Ravi, Special Officer to the Chief Minister Gopal Singh, Director Tourism Vinay Kumar and senior officers of NHAI were present.
